Simon Beaufoy (born 1966) is an Academy Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA award-winning British screenwriter. Born in Keighley, he was educated at Ermysted's Grammar School and Sedbergh School, and graduated from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth.
